In your consultation, you will meet with your provider to discuss medical history, current weight, vitals, and BMI. This consultation will determine your eligibility for the weight loss program and proper dosage. Your provider will review expectations and educate on safe self injection to be done weekly in the comfort of your home.
Weight loss & progress check in
Clients observe initial results after 4 weeks after starting the injections, while significant effects typically develop over the subsequent months or longer. We will schedule monthly telehealth appointments to assess your progress, address any questions, and arrange for your supply of medication for the following month to be shipped.
How do I receive my medication
We have collaborated with a compounding pharmacy to supply all our clients with their medication. The pharmacy will ship directly to our office in Columbia which can then be picked up by the client during operating hours. Shipping times vary but most medications are received within 3-5 business days of the telehealth appointment.
Side effects and how to manage them
Semaglutide and tirezapetide are clinically tested medications proven to be non habit forming and safe for weight loss use. The most common side effect shows to be nausea which can be eased with over the counter medications. Nausea generally resolves after the first month of use. Please let your provider know of any side effects you may be experiencing.
